Set amongst the rolling hills of East Devon, in the heart of a secluded AONB our self contained 2 bed cottage with its own parking is adjacent to our home. Recently refurbished with a new kitchen, incl. dishwasher and washing machine The Cob cottage is made from traditional Devon cob and stone giving it an old look. Fully centrally heated with a large terrace with gas BBQ for al fresco dining. There is also a picnic/bbq area down by our babbling brook, a short walk away. 15 mins from beaches
The space
Our Cob Cottage sleeps 4 comfortably in 2 king size beds.
There is also a double sofa bed in the sitting room.
Travel cot and high chair available on request.

A delightful detached ‘Chocolate Box’ Cob cottage, with charming features and curves. Situated in a beautiful remote valley in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Accommodation:
Cosy, charmingly and quirky, furnished with care and character in a traditional ‘Cottage’ style, with beams and a spiral staircase.

Ground floor
Sitting Room with wooden floor with carpets & french doors to the west facing terrace.
2 large sofas and TV with Apple TV box.
Dining table which seat 4 comfortably 6 at a pinch.
Just off the sitting room is a shower room with basin & WC, with 230v shaver point.

New modern fully-equipped Kitchen/Diner with washing machine and dishwasher, new induction hob and oven, microwave. There is a retro fridge with small freezer compartment.

Bedroom 1
Double bedroom with kings sized bed + chest of draws.

Corridor to en-suite shower room with WC + basin + 230v shaver point.

Bedroom 2
Corridor to Bedroom 2: with king size double plus chest of draws.

All bedrooms have windows, with countryside views.

Please note access to bedroom 2 is through bedroom 1, both bedrooms share the central bathroom. Note there is no door at the top of the spiral staircase.

Free Wi-Fi. But note speed is not great averages 2-3 mobs.

2 burner Gas BBQ.

Parking: Off road parking for 2 cars opposite cottage in our field.

Additional information:
There is an outdoor table and seating for 6 with a BBQ fire pit adjacent to our babbling brook, which is short, walk through our fields.

A variety of spectacular countryside walks direct from the cottage.

Location and Area
Situated on the Jurassic coast Lyme Regis is 20 min drive with sandy beaches and shingle beaches at Branscombe and Seaton.
Plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area.
Honiton village is 10 mins by car where there are Aldi, Tesco and Lidl.
Hontion has a train station with trains to London and Exeter.

A delight for birdwatchers, with gold finches, woodpeckers, buzzards and sparrow hawks.

The Donkey Sanctuary, famous for housing thousands of donkeys in acre upon acre of
undulating pastureland is close by. It’s free and well worth a visit.

The picturesque fishing village of Beer and the Regency coastal town of Sidmouth, with all its amenities including cinema are just a short drive away.
Guest access
Cottage is on a No through road, very secluded with virtually no traffic, no light or noise pollution except the sound of farm machinery. Private parking opposite cottage on our field. At the bottom of our land is a brook where we have set up a fire pit / BBQ with table and benches.
Other things to note
We live in the adjacent house with our 19 yr old and our Labrador Nellie who is very friendly and loves children.
