GENERAL INFORMATION;
***We do NOT charge any host fees, other than a low cleaning fee, so there are no surprises when you go to pay for your booking! The only fees you will see is the VRBO/HomeAway booking fee they charge to each guest which they keep and local taxes as required by law. We take an additional 5% off the weekly rate and 15% off the monthly rate.

***We have negotiated a special 25% discount for all people in your group with Nacoochee Adventures and ziplining for our guests. You will be given a special code when you book with us. We also have an incredible and extensive Trip Planner Document that provides each guest awesome tips on everything from; where to eat and drink to wineries and waterfalls and everything in between. Most guests find that document to be invaluable for a great trip.

***This is a two unit cabin and you are renting the LOWER UNIT. You have your own private driveway for two vehicles. You have your own entry door and your own deck space and seating areas outside. Nothing is a shared space in your unit plus you have your own private (not shared) exterior 4 person hot tub. You have the entire lower level of the home - think of a two unit condo, but in a cabin country wooded setting. The lower unit sleeps 4 people and so does the upper unit so if you wish to book both the lower and upper units to fit 8 people just let us know and we can assist.

***We have two other rentals in Clayton and three more in Helen so if this property is booked for your dates, we may have some other great options for you - just ask.

LOCATION;
"Cute and Chic in Clayton" is located less than half a mile to downtown Clayton so you can pretty easily walk into town. Part of the walk is on the grass shoulder of the road and then converts to a sidewalk the rest of the way. Driving into town is one minute and there is lots of free street parking. Clayton has activities for everyone such as; many restaurants and bars, ice cream parlors, coffee shops, antique shopping, art galleries, river tubing, golfing, hiking, parks, wineries and tons of waterfalls. There is something for everyone. While Clayton has a ton to do locally, we are also convenient to many other North Georgia attractions. We are about 15 minutes to Lake Burton (Anchorage Marine side) where you can rent pontoons boats, 60 minutes to Ski Sapphire Valley, 15 minutes to Tallulah Gorge State Park and about 35 minutes to Helen. Our property is in a very safe and quiet residential neighborhood providing the perfect mix of being just outside of downtown Clayton so you are close to all the action, but also not directly in the downtown area so you can enjoy the wooded private feel, fall foliage and nature. You can see deer, foxes, hedgehogs, the occassional black bear and lots of birds at our place. Overall our property is in a great location to explore everything in the north Georgia mountains.

HOUSE OVERVIEW;
The roughly 2150 square foot air conditioned and heated home has a lower level and an upper level. As stated previously, you are renting the LOWER UNIT which is about 850 square feet and comes with it's own private exterior hot tub. It was totally renovated and redesigned and has a chic, comfortable, stylish yet warm and casual country feel to it. All appliances are new and stainless steel in the full kitchen complete with a gas stove with oven combo unit. Like all of our rentals we make sure the kitchen is very well stocked for all your cooking needs. There is new vinyl wood flooring throughout, ship-lap wooden walls, pine tongue n groove ceilings and fresh paint and decor. The main living space is a studio style large open area with the kitchen, living room and sleeping area with a king bed. There is a large Armoire with drawers and a built in small closet for hanging clothes. There is a separate fully enclosed additional bedroom with a double bed with excellent storage with wall shelving, walk in close and a shelf style dresser. There is also a full size washer and dryer room inside the unit. There are windows along the kitchen and living room to let the natural light inside. There is cute good size full bath with a walk in shower. We have excellent Wi-Fi which of course is FREE to access along with a large 50" LG Smart TV equipped with over 300 channels and of course Netflix, Prime, Roku, etc. The property has a few lovely outdoor sitting areas both covered and open. It is wooded around our home with neighboring houses along the our street. Overall the house is very comfy and appealing for a nice stay in a great location. We have lots of photos with very detailed listing descriptions to help you learn more about our house and the surrounding areas.

CLAYTON AND SURROUNDING AREAS OVERVIEW;
Clayton has activities for everyone such as; many restaurants and bars, ice cream parlors, coffee shops, antique shopping, river tubing, golfing, hiking, parks, wineries and tons of waterfalls. You can even go skiing in Sapphire NC only about one hour away. There is something for everyone. Helen, GA where we have other rentals is only about 35 minutes away and Lake Burton is about 15 minutes. Also don't forget we also send out our fantastic trip planner document to all of our guests covering everything from check in procedures and directions, to the best restaurants and craft breweries and surrounding adventure stuff to do and much more.

WHO WE RENT TO;
Please note as well we are a quiet rental in a family neighborhood and not a party house. So if you are looking for that type of rowdy atmosphere with loud music and really heavy partying we are not the place for you. We welcome all couples, friends and families looking for a relaxing time.
