The check in process was terrible. It is very technology heavy, there were NO directions to get to the apartment!!! And it felt like it was auto-generated response. Worse, we were directed to a website, to check in, and VRBO, to provide our personal information, passport, and pay the 6 Euro occupancy tax, which should have been already included. Going to another website is suspicious, "trufa" to begin with, and then a multiple extra step in user experience. To make matters worse, given the chance for dead zones for cell phone coverage, who in their right mind for user experience force someone to go to a website to register. Then expect someone to download instructions in a PDF on how to get in, use the WIFI, etc. Absolute ly the worse user experience UX!!!!! The place itself was beautiful, well appointed, extremely clean, but too many steps, which was not mentioned to my recollection, but doable. But solely based on the overcomplicated UX, we would not stay there again, and cannot recommend unless they were to improve the UX experience. If it were not for our little bit of Italian, and the a kind neighbor, we would have never found the place!!! The GPS got us to the historic district, but the windy streets and no directions, left us stranded, if not for the neighbor! I was literally tempted to cancel and report fraud on my card and stay somewhere else!!!!!
