„We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. „The Rifle Volunteer ist eine rustikale Unterkunft, klassisch für Arbeiter auf Montage ausgerichtet, mit angehängter Sportbar, in der es Snacks und gute Pizzen gibt. Die Lage ist ruhig und in wenigen Fußminuten ist das Stadtzentrum erreicht. Das Personal und der Besitzer sind ausgesprochen freundlich und entgegenkommend.“

„Man wird von der netten Julie zusammen mit ihren zwei Schäferhunden begrüßt. Das Einzelzimmer ist recht groß und es gibt als "Freebie" 0,5l Wasser und Tee/Kaffe. Das Badezimmer muss geteilt werden, war für mich aber kein Problem, da ich als nicht Geschäftsreisender unter der Woche nach acht Uhr sowieso alleine war. Das engl. Frühstück ist üppig und Julie geht auf viele Wünsche ein.“
