This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Charleston vacation

Overall pretty well. You could hear the people walking around upstairs. We did find the occasional bug in the house. We were told we had 2 parking spots, we only had one vehicle which was fine but when we came back after a day of excursions only to find the upstairs people were parked in both spots. They were told they also had 2 parking spots. We worked it out though.

Nice place minor issue

Obviosly in Charlston your going to be in an old house, not an issue but did have to eliminate some cockroaches. One other minor issue is check-in at 4 but out at 10, 10 is a little early.

Good location

Walkable to King St. Modern update to an old house. There is another unit above this….we heard every step they made & all conversations. Bring your own snacks & drinks because little is provided…not as welcoming as other places I have booked. Bring ear plugs & eye shades (bright outdoor lights).

Comfortable and great location

My husband, I, and two other couples stayed overnight before our cruise out of Charleston. Wonderful huge bedrooms, lovely outdoor area, easy walk to wonderful restaurants, and a lovely bakery directly across the street. Would definitely stay again.

Cockroaches

Plenty of living and dead cockroaches in almost every room. When I emailed to share the problem, I was told that I was confusing those with palmetto bugs. A quick Google search shows that they are the exact same thing. Someone did come put roach motels in every room, but it was difficult to sleep, knowing there was an abundance of cockroaches. The online pictures made the place look really nice, but we didn’t have that feeling while there. I wish we would have gotten a hotel instead.

Cute apartment & great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inns! The apartment is super cute and located in a very convenient/walkable location to everything we had planned in Charleston and Folly Beach. We had a few issues with the upstairs tenants being loud late at night and double parking us (there is ample parking designated for each unit so shouldn’t have been an issue) but David was very quick to respond and help remedy the situation. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the only thing we wished we had was a little bit of a larger common area/living room since space was limited in that regard, but over all we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Close to several top restaurants. Walkable to Historic area. Coffee shop on the corner. The property was perfect for two couples. King beds and large rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Living area was small. Loved the front porch.

Location: Pro and Con but not worth it

Location itself, easy to access with designated parking. Within walking distance to King Street but the weekend noise is atrocious despite Charleston having a 10 pm noise ordinance. We chose the first level due to mobility concerns of my grandmother who was traveling with us. Unfortunately we heard every single movement of our upstairs neighbors and ALL the outside traffic of both vehicles and pedestrians which woke me and my guests up 3 out of the 5 nights we were there. The bachelorette party that was the floor above us came home well after 2 am most nights and we’re dropping items on the floor, blasting loud music and talking/laughing loudly on the front patio- again waking up my entire family. It was so loud you would’ve thought they were in the same apartment as us. I will say that the property management team answered the phone right away during those early hours and I felt they were attentive to my concerns and acted swiftly. The property itself was beautiful and had charm but unfortunately I would not stay here again.

Excellent location!

After spending multiple days in hotels as we conducted college tours, it was so nice to have our own bedrooms. The place was immaculate and so close to everything. We walked everywhere! There is also a bakeshop across the street with the most amazing sweets. And down the road is a Jersey style bagel shop (they even have Taylor ham). I would definitely stay here again!
