We provide starter supplies for your stay to include a small shampoo, conditioner and body wash per person, 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 dishwasher tabs, small bottle of dish soap, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 spare trash bag, 2 packs of coffee and a handful of small creamers. After these initial supplies run out, we do not offer additional supplies. There are several convenience stores and grocery stores in the area for your convenience.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the Charleston peninsula.

The Wonderer includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch, dinner, trendy cocktails, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

This unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2025-06028 and Business License BL035863-03-2024

Guest Access:
Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in.

Off-street parking for 3 mid-size vehicles stacked in the Driveway to the right of the property is included. If you have more than one vehicle, we recommend the Hyatt Place Parking Garage on the corner of King & Spring Streets.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

The Neighborhood:
This trendy area is within an easy walk of Charleston's top attractions and a quick, two-block walk from the bustling Upper King District which includes award-winning restaurants and shops. Some of our favorites include Halls Chophouse, The Darling Oyster Bar, Citrus Club and Cocktail Club. If you're looking for something sweet, Sugar Bakeshop is within walking distance.

Getting Around:
Occasionally Luxe is located in the heart of Downtown Charleston, which makes it easy to walk or bike to any of our local attractions/restaurants.

The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just 2 blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 11pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please take the party inside and be considerate of the neighbors. No parties or events allowed at the property.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

Please note that this property does contain external security cameras at the driveway and entryways for your protection.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON POTENTIAL FOR NOISE: Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood from 10pm to 8am daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please stay inside and be considerate of the neighbors. Our location offers the vibrant energy of a lively urban setting, with fantastic dining, entertainment, and music venues nearby, including those on King Street, just a few blocks away. While we comply with the city's noise ordinance and cannot control external noise, we advise guests that street noises and typical urban sounds are to be expected. We do not provide discounts or refunds for noise-related complaints. By renting this unit, you acknowledge and accept the potential for noise as described.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

Our stay, a get together with my 3 adult children, was wonderful, the property was very clean, kitchen provided all essentials. Location 1 block from King Street and all it has to offer was just what we were looking for. Great family vacation spot, with a few recs

We really enjoyed our family stay in Charleston. We were two families of four with teen sons. The location was perfect…so many restaurants nearby and just a little longer walk down to the Battery/south of Broad to see all the beautiful homes. The home itself was a great example of a Charleston single house. The “living room” area upstairs was too small for our whole group of 8 to lounge around, but we spent a lot of time playing games and talking around the table. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated so nicely, though the shower water pressure wasn’t the best. It was cold during our trip, and it would have been nice to gather outside if there were outdoor heaters. We loved the porches/balconies, but would have benefitted from more outdoor seating. Another recommendation would be to add darkening shades or curtains on the back rooms as the sun was bright in the mornings for the guests sleeping in those rooms. Overall we LOVED the house and would stay again and recommend.

Beautiful!

Beautifully decorated, well-equipped, close to king st (and cofc). The managers were vey informative before check-in and super quick to respond to questions. The whole place just felt very easy! And the bathrooms are quite beautiful too!
