„It was very clean and cozy. The weather was still cold to catch any fish so we stayed in more than planned. Located in a convenient spot. Close to restaurants and party store. Just over an hour to Traverse city. Not too far for groceries. Only could stay 3 nights. Communication from owners A. My husband made a good choice for our short getaway. Close to the lake and a marina. I would go back here. “

„We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was exactly as described—peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect escape. The setting was incredibly quiet, with a beautiful view of the river that we enjoyed every day. Our dogs had an amazing time too, which made the trip even better. Everything was comfortable and just what we were hoping for. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature!“

„Everything was wonderful. Just one pretty minor complaint: the CD player was weird to operate and only one speaker worked. We had a great time. We visited Tuttle Marsh and the River Road on the Au Sable River on our way out, and climbed the lighthouse and hiked all around the edge of the peninsula. The fall colors were at peak for a good portion of our trip up. Thanks very much for making our 40th anniversary a great experience.“

„Perfect little cottage right on the lake with amazing views. My son and I came for a couple days of fishing. We caught a few bass and crappie right off the dock. We also used the pontoon for a day but windy weather kept us from catching more. The boat itself is very nice. The property has a small sandy beach and shallow sandy bottom water that would have been great for smaller kids in warmer weather.“

„The middle of the Montague Trail is only a mile or 2 away, we were able to find it and explore. Also the Genevieve Casey Nature Sanctuary is close and offers great hiking with a variety forest types and long difficult trails! This is our 2nd stay at the property and everything was great as it was before. The fall colors were out and it's a beautiful area to take them in.“

„Cabin was very clean, welcoming, and well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Even though there was no kitchen, there is a mini fridge, griddle, and toaster. I did notice hot water ran out quicker than what I'm used to, but I sped up my showers and it was fine. Fire pit with wood supplied was nice and relaxing to sit by. Paved white pine trail running right by the cabin was nice for long walks with my dog. The property is nice and peaceful, easy walk down to the river. Wonderful, peaceful ...
