„The home is cozy. The kitchen is beautiful and functional. There is plenty of seating in the living room to relax. Beds were comfortable. The home is very close Eureka College, literally behind the baseball field! We are eager for baseball season and hope to return in Spring to catch a few games.The only concern that I noticed was with fall weather was a few bugs (look like stink bugs and orange lady bugs) kept finding their way in at night, with the cooler weather this weekend. "Stayed 10–11 August. Upon arrival, we were given the wrong room (one bed instead of the two queen beds booked). This was corrected after complaint. Later that evening, we returned to find dirt in the sink and the sink completely blocked. No maintenance at night – we were handed a plunger and told to fix it ourselves, which didn’t work. No other rooms were available. We were promised that our rate might be adjusted and that the assistant manager would call us the day after check-out. That call never happened. Polite staff, but the lack of maintenance support, failure to resolve problems, and unkept promises made this a very disappointing stay."
