„The property was clean and well kept. The outside was cleared enough to park and walk around the house but enough flora was kept to keep the birds around for easy viewing. The interior was clean and well laid out. The kitchen was stocked well enough to prepare dinner and all appliances worked. The screened porch was most enjoyable and the swing turned out to be our favorite spot. Good views, easy access to the beach and close proximity to the ferry are a big plus. There is a military live fire ...

„Another wonderful week in Davis............despite a few days of unsettled weather. This was our 3rd stay at Sound Escape. The house was excellent as usual, and we really enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Lost to see and do in and around Davis if you're willing to drive a bit. We love this place !!! “

„We like a small, convenient place to stay when we bring our boat to explore the sound and this worked perfectly for us. Easy to get to the boat launch and clean cute place to sleep. “

„We had a wonderful weekend. The house had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and had great meals in the town of Beaufort. Our hosts were communicative and helpful.“

„The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. “

„This home was very clean and had a great private property with long dock and chairs to enjoy nature. We have never been to the area and is a bit remote so I'd recommend bringing food and supplies initially if you need. Great getaway spot to disconnect with plenty of amenities and fully furnished kitchen.“

„Stayed here for one night before camp drop off, plenty of room and super convenient to the town of Oriental. Didn’t get to enjoy much of the stuff around because it was a short day, but the bikes would’ve been loved by all. Hot water, cute house, great location- would gladly stay here again. “
