„Wir kamen in das Haus und es hat hat sehr gemuffelt.Das Geschirr war zusammengesucht und alt,die Trinkgläser blind und es gab im Ganzen Haus kein einziges Sitzmöbel auf dem man länger als 30 Minuten sitzen konnte, bevor einem alles weh getan hat.Wir mussten heizen um diesen Mief irgendwie raus zu bekommen und mussten dann zum Schluss nochmal 500.- für Strom und Heizung bezahlen, was in keiner Weise nachvollziehbar war!Also insgesamt muss ich sagen der Preis war für dieses Haus in keinster Weise ...

The place was very clean and has been recently renovated, but still had a very historic feel to it. Emanuel, our host, was very friendly and gracious. He offered several personal recommendations to restaurants and a wine tasting at a nearby castle, all of which were great! Would definitely stay here again!“

„The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest ...

„We were looking for accommodation that was a little out of the way, had a Tuscan feeling and offered peace and quiet after a day in Florence, Pisa or Siena. That's exactly what we found, a very quiet house at the top of the hill with a beautiful view of the hilly landscape. „We had a great stay at villa Lucia, we where met by the owner who showed us around, the property has an abundance of period features and is spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained, it has a lovely pool and terrace with a mature well maintained garden. It made a great base for visits to Florence We drove about 20 mins to the centre of Prato and took a 30 minute train journey into the centre of Florence just €20 return for four of us. „The location is amazing. House is surrounded by hills and valleys. Perfect view of Tuscany. Plenty of amenities. Very spacious and clean house. Stay is on the second floor so be prepared to carry the luggage. There are two bathrooms but only one shower. The shower drain was not properly draining so was a bit of an inconvenience since we were 8. Good for smaller groups. Highly recommend this stay.
