„Park House was just what we needed for a break. The hosts were extremely welcoming and very friendly and the food was really excellent. The room was really nice, very clean and beautifully decorated. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Park House as a place to stay. We will be booking again.“

„Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. „Last minute booking for us (having messed up booking a different place). Absolute bargain and a great place to stay. Parking was easy, just outside, and free too. We had a disabled badge, but were offered a parking disc when we arrived. Room was lovely, facing the street, but that wasnt a problem as it was quiet in the main. As it was so late and been driving for over 6hrs we looked at the room - but the room had a really strong cleaning product smell - probably trying to mask the animal smells, and looking closely on the floor you could see animal hair. „Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall. The spa was really relaxing and well worth it. The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely. The Staff were great: polite, helpful, and made everything easy. They left a few things out for our birthday celebration, which made the day feel special. Tip: on your last morning, try to squeeze in one last 1/2 hour the spa to set you up for the day.“
