„It was described as 1 bedroom but was a studio.No kitchen towels.No privacy.No blindsDirty ashtray on deck.Futon totally uncomfortable. No lake view.It was a nasty pond and couldn’t be seen by house. No welcome book or information about where places were or directions.Had to google everything. Totally disappointed with everything about this place.I’d hate to give VRBO a bad rating.Do you even check these places out? I think some kind of compensation should be given.“

„Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone.“

„This was a lovely little house to use as a home base for some mountain adventures. My kids especially loved the full-sized bunk beds. Check in was easy, the hosts responded immediately to questions and were very helpful. An added bonus, Weaverville itself is a great little town with good food and fun shops! I would absolutely go back to this same property!“

„We absolutely loved our stay here… it’s the perfect cottage for a small family to enjoy their time in surrounding areas. Cottage is up on a mountain and we were there in June and it was 10 degrees cooler than in town! Cottage is well maintained and has all amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. „We were not able to use the hot tub due to there not being enough water, which was a bummer. The hot tub appeared old and not very clean. Water pressure is not great if you want a good shower. The fireplace from the pictures didn't work either. I never heard back from the host after I messaged them about the hot tub. For the price, you might as well get a hotel with a working hot tub and good shower. “
