„We found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called. I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up. Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. “

„We stayed in this hotel last night for 1 night. The location is perfect to get to Ross-on-Wye and is located on A road. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. 2 rooms were allocated to us opposite each other which was convenient for a family. Large rooms and bathrooms, very clean with attention to details. Very comfy bed. Food was also very good. My children loved it. Overall great experience. „Leider haben wir vom Hotel nicht viel mitbekommen, da wir ein Zimmer im lauten Hinterhof hatten. Die laute Lüftung der Küche und ein Scheinwerfer, der direkt ins Zimmer geleuchtet hat, waren ziemlich störend. Essen gab es am Tag unserer Übernachtung leider für uns nicht, da eine lokale Veranstaltung stattfand. Man sollte auch einplanen, dass die Geschäfte im Ort (bis auf den Supermarkt) zwischen 16 und 18 Uhr schließen.“

„mein einzelzimmer war 5-6 qm groß und ca. 1,90 hoch. das fensterlose bad war ungefähr genauso groß (aber viel höher) und befand sich 10 m den gang hinunter, 4 stufen hoch und hinter einer feuerschutztür um die ecke. es war also nicht "en suite", worauf man demnach in england achten muss. der zimmername "cromwell´s cupboard" war durchaus passend.“

"Nice older building. Despite the nicks, dings, old furnishings, and imperfections the hotel has a very nice atmosphere. Additionally, the staff are all exceptionally nice. I suggest visiting the bar if you enjoy a nice quiet conversation with a pint. There was a great selection of beers. I would highly recommend a visit to the Great Malvern Priory church. I'm not religious but the building is beautiful and packed with history. Unfortunately, there is some not so great items to note. The housekeeping was not good. In my opinion, the universal standard for replacing towels is to leave them in the shower/tub or on the floor which I did on two days. On one of these days the staff placed the used towels back on the towel rack and no fresh towels were given. No excuse for this type of action in the service industry. Also, the floor of my room was dirty upon arrival and never vacuumed during a 5 night stay. I did request a vacuuming but only one room was done. Full trash cans were not emptied daily. Lastly, the bedding was never changed during my stay. I requested a bedding change on the third day. The young lady simply removed the top sheet and never replaced it. The Great Malvern Hotel is a nice hotel and I would recommend it to others but that recommendation would come with a room cleanliness caution. "

"The Hotel was ok. When we arrived I gave the license plate of the car at the reception but we still got a trafic violation ticket for parking at the parking lot of the hotel. That was pricy and annoying, because we had a rentel car and where charged extra by the rental car company. When I asked Reglan Lodge to help sort this out, I didn't even get a reply. So thanks for the stay that now costs us mmore then 3times the hotelprice! "
