„Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover.“

Die Handtücher waren grenzwertig verfleckt mit Bleiche und nicht näher zu definierenden braunen Flecken. Drei Lampen hatten defekte Glühbirnen als wir ankamen. Auch funktionell gab es Defizite. Die Türe im einen Bad schließt nicht. In einem der Schlafzimmer schließt die Türe auch nicht. Beide Bäder können nicht zeitgleich benutzt werden. ...

„Hope Cross was excellent and a great base for our few days exploring the Dales.The property is kitted out to a really high standard and was very comfortable. A power cut caused a problem with the central heating and the hosts couldn't have done more to get things sorted - we were very grateful. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly go back.“
