„We had a very short (2-night) stay. Place is cute, furniture was comfortable. 2 tiny bathrooms, to close door off main bedroom had to push down handle once door was pulled closed. Nice view of dunes and water, easy access to beach (not visible due to dunes). I have rented a lot of places. This place is quite small, so family or close friends would probably work. We could not find any wine glasses, but there was a coffee pot and filters. “

„Had a great time. House was beautiful, like somewhere I could see myself living permanently. Everyone on Oak Island were welcoming and laid back. We enjoyed the local eateries and shopping especially the amount of antique stores in the area. Picture time by the pier at sunset is a must. “

„This property is older however you cannot beat the location and the access to that beautiful ocean. The windows are awesome you have a direct view to the sea from the whole back side of the house. Just open the blinds and enjoy. The bathroom is standing shower only and kind of small but we made it work. Make sure to bring linens or order them. I would definitely stay here again.“

„This house reminded me of the houses that used to be common on HB. I love the older style from my youth so if you're looking for modern/new, this isn't it. Everything was good and clean. Bright and cheerful. I'll just add a few notes for suggestions. The ceilings were in disrepair in places with buckling of plywood. The king room mattress was very hard, almost like sleeping on wood. The front door threshold needs to be replaced as my husband cut his toe because it's not nailed down properly and ...
