There was a leak in the master bathroom under the sink. The tub in the master bathroom had a leak under it 2 years ago when we were there. The tub has not been fixed and is almost dangerous to use since there is a huge hump in the middle of the tub, causing you to slide around. The upstairs powder room bath electrical outlet doesn't work. The downstairs bathroom insert was not well installed and doesn't really fit. The shower curtain rod is not well attached and can fall down when you open the curtain. All toilet seats are in poor condition and aren't tight so they slide around whenever you use them...all bathrooms. The floors upstairs and downstairs were dirty when we arrived. The downstairs bedroom linens were covered in dog hair and didn't feel like they had been cleaned in a long time. Both of the recliners in the living room weren't working correctly. One of them doesn't even sit up all the way and one of our kids fell backwards and nearly hit their heads on the floor. The living room setup is not conducive to seating more than 2 people to watch TV. Not great since you can sleep 8 people in the house. Simple rearrangement of the furniture and fixing the furniture would fix this issue. We love the location and view of this property, but without basic maintenance or cleanliness we will probably not be staying here again. It is disappointing.
