„You know how rental homes are often not as good as you'd expect based on the photos and description? This house is the opposite: WAY better than we expected! The space is huge and cozy, the kitchen is well stocked, the views of the lake are stunning, the boats are tons of fun, the grill is great, and the outdoor furniture (plus firepit!) makes hanging out easy. „The house was super clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Bonus finished basement with huge couch and tv. Perfect spot for teenagers, while adults can enjoy the main living room. The spot on the lake was great. Quiet area, boat launch very close, very easy access to beautiful Lake George. Cook Mountain Preserve hiking trails within a mile of house, great views!! Host is very responsive if you need anything. “

„I was in the area for the 250th anniversary of the Green Mountain Boys' assault on Fort Ticonderoga and stayed for two nights at "Camp Howard".I had the best time, it's a really cute yet very spacious cottage, remote and yet easily accessible along a private road.It was truly refreshing to not have cell service, it took me a few hours before I truly relaxed.There is a river down below the back of the cottage and I fell asleep at night hearing the noise of the water.Great property in a wonderful ...

„This is a great location the lake is beautiful . Water is clear and warm . We had a great family vacation . We were able to get in the boat and go. Alot of nice places about one hour into lake George downtown. Highly recommend house is equipped with dishes, some pans , silverware ect only thing it could be cleaned a little better . “

„Visiting family in Vermont, very charming place to stay, quaint, quiet, fun in the lake, grandkids visited, great cookout, although the steps to the one bedroom were challenging for my handicapped wife, never thought a futon would be so comfortable, especially for me, at 6’2”, 260 lbs, it was great, we had loads of fun, short trips to restaurants, and another visit to Tom and Jerry’s, thanks so much, it was awesome, will be back!“
