The location was really great. Nice views and lake access. The hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen was well appointed. There was even wood for the fireplace which was nice. The only minor issues we had were the master bedroom faced the street and had very thin shades so there was lots of light coming in from the street. We switched to the smaller queen sized bedroom facing the lake and it was much better. The water was very hard and had an odd smell. I would recommend a water softener and a water filtration system. The downstairs rooms were kind of dark and we did not spend any time down there. There is only one bathroom on the main floor which was odd for a house of this size but we made it work. The door lock on the front door would make odd noises periodically and unlock itself, which was a bit disturbing. Tried to text and email the host about it but they never responded. Overall a good stay and would be even better in Summer with the lake access.
