„After being placed in a cottage room which was very close to the facility hosting a wedding party We asked to be moved to a quieter part of the hotel as we were nothing to do with the wedding party. This was dealt with quickly and efficiently with no fuss. From this point onwards we received great service in a great room with excellent breakfasts We will use hotel and specific room for visiting family on future occasions.“

„This was a real surprise. Fabulous, friendly staff and a spacious and airy venue. Our twin room was very clean, quiet and comfy. We ate in the bar and the food was good. Although there is tea and coffee making facilities in the room, the bar offers comfy seating and complimentary hot drinks and cooled filtered water. We had a great walk in shower and all the staff were efficient and helpful. Parking is free via a supplied code. It's an ideal venue if you go to the cinema or a show on the campus ...

„Ein sehr geschmackvolles kleines Hotel. Netter Service und tolles Frühstück. Auch das Dinner war gut. Leider hatten wir eine Dachkammer bekommen. Zimmer Nr.1. Auch geschmackvoll, leider ohne Fenster...!? Sowas kann man nicht als Hotelzimmer für 165,-€ vermieten. Sehr schade! Sonst hätte ich es bessere Bewertet.“

„Super helpful and responsive pre check in. Seamless stay. I actually had a different hotel booked originally but cancelled on them as they had me on hold and talking to centralised call centres - just to see if any possibility I could check in early or get keys early - which they couldn’t give any form of reassurance or guarantee. The Dakota however sent a personal response to me straight away and were highly accommodating. Great base for a wedding or event“

„We arrived at 17:45 on the Sunday, to find that the kitchen closed at 18:00. We had just walked 14 miles as part of our Grand Union Canal walk for Yorkshire Cancer Research. The staff were very accommodating and we were well fed! The shock was when we received the receipt for the meals and a few beers and a 10% service charge had been added. We were not asked whether we wanted to pay that. Given the circumstances, we would probably have agreed to it, but it would have been nice to be asked. “
