Dolphin House - Poolhaus am Golf von Mexiko

Dolphin House liegt auf der Little Hickory Insel im Golf vom Mexiko, auf halbem Wege zwischen Naples und Ft Myers. An diesem Strandabschnitt sind nur Privathäuser erlaubt, wovon die relative Einsamkeit zeugt. Der Strand ist 45 m westlich von der Haustür und besonders im Sommer voller Ozeanleben. Von Mai bis August legen die Schildkröten hier ihre Eier und auf der Uferlinie sind ihre Spuren und Nester überall verstreut. Sie können hervorragend Muschel sammeln und Vögel beobachten, man sieht Reiher, Fischreiher, Adler, Fischadler, Pelikane und Möwen. Diese vom Besitzer in Ordnung gehaltene Wohnung wurde komplett neu möbliert, einschließlich neue Geräte in der Küche und neuen Betten in den Schlafzimmern. Der mit Gas geheizte und abgeschirmte Swimmingpool bietet einen privaten Erholungsraum nach dem Strandvergnügen. Das Meer hat durch den Golfstrom 31 Grad Celsius. Dolphin House ist ideal gelegen für einen morgendlichen Spaziergang am Strand oder die Betrachtung des Sonnenuntergangs.

Gut aber schon älter

Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut, nur ein paar Meter bis zum Strand. 4 Sterne habe ich gegeben da die Lage besser ist wie 3 Sterne, das Haus selber hat im jetzigen Zustand nur 3 Sterne verdient. Es ist schon sehr abgewohnt, soll aber angeblich noch 2018 renoviert und um ein Schlafzimmer erweitert werden.

Bonita beach

Place was very close to the beach and had a beautiful kitchen that met all our cooking needs. It had plenty spices, pots and and essentials. The pool felt like bath water. Only slight negative were we spotted a few bugs on the floor and lots traps but probably the norm for a beach house.

Bonita Springs Getaway

Our stay in Bonita was absolutely wonderful! The house exceeded all our expectations, providing everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Having the beach just across the street was a dream, and the saltwater pool was a fantastic bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the amenities, making meal prep easy and enjoyable. The entire home was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind!

The perfect beach house !

The Dolphin House is perfect! Beautiful, spacious, clean house with lots of updates! Kitchen is well stocked. We cooked Christmas dinner and had plenty of pots/pans, serving ware, etc. We really appreciated having the nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella. There’s also a beach wagon and a cooler. The house is so close to the beach! Loved going to the beach every day! The pool is also very nice, and heated. Dolphin House is also pretty neat Doc’s Beachhaus and we went there quite often.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The proximity to the beach, the pool and the property was great. We definitely would stay here again, even talked about it being our destination for next year! We had a really relaxing time, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was a perfect location across road from the beach, and the pool was great to come back to and swim at night. Best House

This is our second time staying at The Dolphin House. The place was just as great as the last time. There are plenty of amenities at the house that makes it so much nicer than other places we have stayed! We love the Dolphin house! It was in a great location, just steps away from the beach. The house was very clean and had everything we could possibly need! Perfect location

This home was perfect for us! The pool was amazing & the beach was right across the street. So convenient. I was disappointed that there wasn’t an iron & board, no bikes or beach cart. It stated on the VRBO site that these things were there. Other than that, it’s a beautiful home and we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 week stay.

Beautiful home and location!

My husband and I went with dear friends and had a great time in this lovely remodeled home!! Right across the street you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. We took the beach chairs,(provided)and a cocktail to the beach to enjoy! There is both a Keurig and drip coffee maker provided. Beds were comfy and the A/C functioned well and was quiet! The leather reclining couches were great! We ate at Coconut Jacks as recommended and we liked it. The only downside was the pool wasn’t as clean as it could have been( issue with the pool guy) A few things of note. There isn’t a grill as yet. Also bicycles were listed but there were none. Tim and Connie were very easy to reach, when needed! We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thanks!!

Third times the charm

This is our third stay at Dolphin House and it didn't disappoint. It is gorgeous, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked and all rooms are spacious and well furnished. The area is still rebuilding from Ian but there was still plenty to see and do. We can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Hope we can go back!

We booked dolphin house for a beach vacation with my wife our two kids as well as two friends. The house has an incredible location and was perfect for our group. Unfortunately hurricane Ian interrupted our stay but the owners were very accommodating and communicative while we navigated evacuation orders. The moment dolphin house is back on the rental market we would love to book it and go back!

Great Home Away From Home

We stayed here last August and were very happy that the house was available this month. We brought family this year and they loved it. They are retired and travel alot and said it was the best stocked kitchen they had ever seen. The pool is great and house was very clean. Comfortable beds, lots of towels and chairs for the beach. We loved it and hope to be able to stay again!

Really enjoyed this last week at the beach. This house has everything that we needed and more. Plenty of space for the four of us and so convenient to the beach across the street. There’s a cart, umbrella, and beach chairs to use and even beach towels. The pool was especially nice when we returned from the beach. The house was updated with all modern conveniences in kitchen and baths. Couldn’t be happier! We plan to stay again!

House was exceptional! Clean/high quality/everything you need. Great location. Short / easy walk to the beach. Not crowded. Pool is great - bigger than it looks in the picture. We were very happy with our stay and would love to stay at Dolphin House again.
