„It was a nice home. The property has some very steep incline to get to. If you are walking a bunch of luggage I would not recommend doing that by yourself. We had some issues with hot water where it does not last very long, maybe 3-5 minutes then it quickly tapered off. When we tried to reach out and mention this to the host they didn’t really respond or do anything about it so I’m not sure if that’s just normal or what. „The railway station is directly below the apartment. This wasn't noted or listed and wasn't shown in the photo's. I was really disappointed that this wasn't made clear. The space also looks more new and fresh in the photos than it really is. The space is functional and generally clean, but things were old, dated and partially broken. I think the price didn't match what we paid for. The view from the balcony was amazing though, that was the biggest highlight. “

There are some stairs up to it but the resulting views are magic, esp in the evening. The owner communicated very well throughout. We would stay here again for sure. There was no air conditioning but the villa stayed relatively cool throughout our stay in July (although perhaps a fan would have been good!). Vernazza is a lovely base for exploring the cinque terre. The villa is around a 10 minute walk into the town up a moderate hill, but worth it for the peaceful surroundings and views.
