Stayed at this hotel with and on recommendation of a friend. While the hotel itself is wonderful, great location with huge pool, kid's club, access to sea and excellent food; the service left much to be desired. Both house keeping of rooms and Gardenya restaurant service people needed constant push to provide even the basic service, like extra cutlery on the table when more people were present than cutlery laid out, or water and wine had to be served by us, as waiters were busy chatting with one another rather than serving the guests. In the rooms, it took us half a day once to have the sheets on the bed changed, and housekeeping had to be constantly reminded to bring fresh towels (few times we were left with no towels at all). We had to complain few times with guest relations to get things done. Teaching house keeping to do their job is not my idea of holiday.
All in all, if the service were no so disappointingly absent, our stay would have been really great.
