„The property is quaint/unusual. Not easily seen from the road if arriving in the dark. Provisions given in the room and the landing were excellent and fabulous location for Stansted airport. However, on opening the front door noted that the hall carpet was slightly worn and the room allocated had a shower in the room rather than the bathroom. Otherwise very comfortable stay and would book again, but request a room with a definite bathroom.“

„A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.“

„Die Gästezimmer befinden neben dem eigentlichen Pub und Restaurant in einem Nebengebäude. Aus ehemaligen Pferdeställen wurden liebevoll eingerichtete wunderbare Unterkünfte mit Charme gestaltet. Insbesondere das geräumige Badezimmer war sehr angenehm.“

„Bisschen schwierig zu finden aber sonst sehr schönes B&B. Hat sogar eigene Parkplätze im Hof, also NIX mit Auto irgendwo an die Straße stellen und hoffen das man nicht abgeschleppt wird. Super Frühstück, schönes Zimmer, gutes Internet. Nur die Bettdecke war für meinen Geschmack etwas mächtig. “

„Just a short one night stay for our night before our flight out of Stansted. Great little find, just 30 mins from the airport but a lovely peaceful location. The host had left provisions for breakfast which was totally unexpected but made a real difference to our stay. Would recommend for for a short stay away from it all.“
