Rooms are beautiful, plenty of amenities, we felt the standard of cleaning each day was excellent!
Breakfast is outstanding, a lovely platter + anything off the menu + free refills of whatever drink you like!
Area is wonderful especially for hiking, especially recommend Chatsworth grounds.
Will be coming again for certain!

In an idyllic setting, an excellent base for holidaying around Matlock/Derbyshire .
Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack included a bottle of my wife's favourite wine. The owner checked to see if everything was to our satisfaction.
Would certainly recommend it.

"Booked due to bad traffic and arrived late, Shower light didn’t work so was gloomy, water pressure was near enough-non existent, mirror arm was broken. Couldnt leave open window due to noise from fan. Left early and spoke to a lovely man. Bed was comfy."

"Room was dirty, stains on the bed, poo stains on the bathroom wall. What looked like blood near the window. Found a dirty pair of socks in the wardrobe. The man in reception was rude when checking myself and my partner in. Will not be coming back!"
