„Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. „Very comfortable guest house. Anna, the Manager, was very welcoming and helpful. We had a spacious and very homely room. Very convenient and with free parking. About a 15 minute walk into Durham (downhill, so uphill coming back!). Breakfast was excellent. Didn't particularly rate the attached Indian restaurant though - the one and only FoH chap was not that friendly, and food was okay but nothing special.“
