We had great days out in Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne and Low Newton-by-the-Sea - lots of beautiful beaches and wonderful wildlife. You need a car for most excursions but we did a couple of walks from the cottage, including one beach walk to Bamburgh when the tide was out.
