The Space:
Welcome to this 120 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Plaza España and Barcelona’s historic Eixample neighborhood, an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city. Also conveniently located next to train station Sants Estació.

This comfortable and cozy apartment has everything to make your stay in Barcelona perfect!

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The Neighborhood:
The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.
The left side of the Eixample is the largest neighborhood in this district. It's a great area to explore on foot, with a wide variety of bars offering live music and local shops, as well as great terraces where you can kick back and relax over a coffee. In this neighborhood, the large number of restaurants that offer a type of cuisine with a more avant-garde style stands out. In this neighborhood there are the Can Battle¡s three buildings (currently the Industrial School), the former prison La Modelo, the park Joan Miró located in the emplacement of the former city's slaughterhouse, the bullfighting ring Las Arenas, which is nowadays a commercial center, and the Casa Golferichs.

Getting Around:
The apartment is a 5-minute walk to Tarragona's Metro Station (Green Line L3) and Rocafort Metro Station (Red Line L1), which gives you easy access to the city.
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça España. The cost is around 4.5€

Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***

- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 2.25€ + VAT per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. Also, from 2022 Barcelona City Council applies 3.25€ + VAT to the tourist tax as a city tax fee, also per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights.

- This cost of 6.65€ per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights IS NOT included on your reservation.

- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.

- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)

*** HOUSE RULES ***

1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.

Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Quite Disappointed. Can not recommend

We arrived and at first had difficulty entering the appartment, and when we got in, the furniture in the living room didnt match the picture at all. The fold out couch on one of the pictures are now in the living room and cleary worn out, and the actual couch in the living room is replaced with one in very poor condition. The terrace was nice and big but the four table chairs where all ripped in the seat and therefore unuseable and the one sunchair was barely standing. We contacted the owner (The Collection Barcelona) on the first day with our complaints, they apoligised and after some mails back and forth they promised us new furniture for the terrace but we didnt hear anything about it until the day before we left, we asked for some kind of compensation but now they dont answer at all.

Spacious apartment with great location and view

We truly enjoyed staying in this penthouse apartment. We were two couples traveling together. The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk to Placa Espana where it was easy to take the Aerobus to/from the Airport and to access the Metro. The apartment is in a less touristy location, but it was easy to walk or taxi to most other points of interest/neighborhoods. There were also many shops and restaurant close by. The team at Barcelona Collective were very responsive to any questions we had and gave us some recommendations for Barcelona too. We mostly enjoyed our time having coffee in the morning or sipping vermouth and cava before dinner on the roof deck. We had two small things that would have made our stay even better.There was 1 chaise on the deck. We would have enjoyed a few more for afternoon siestas. Although there were some fans, tt would be nice if the 2nd bedroom had AC as it was a little warm. We definitely recommend this apartment to others wanting a spacious place with an amazing view!

Divine, Modern, Incredible Terrace

There is a lovely, large terrace with a wonderful view of the city and a table for eating, space for lounging. The space is incredibly comfortable and roomy. Couldn't recommend more.

Don’t do it

Worst stay ever. The place was dirty. The walls stained. It looks like it only used for partying. The furnitures are either broken or close to. It’s not the furnitures showned on the pictures. We asked for a refund but haven’t heard anything. The terrace was nice but it won’t make up for the lousy apartment.
