Royal Continental Hotel Naples

"We stayed at the Royal Continental Hotel in Naples for the second time, and this time we even brought friends with us because we wanted them to experience this wonderful mid-century icon for themselves. The location directly on the seafront is simply fantastic, with beautiful views across the Bay of Naples. The hotel still has a very special sense of elegance and glamour that evokes the golden age of La Dolce Vita. For anyone who appreciates mid-century architecture and design, it is a place with real character. A particular highlight is the iconic rooftop pool designed by Gio Ponti - truly unique and one of the reasons this hotel feels so special. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean. Another highlight is the breakfast room, with its wonderful panoramic view of the sea. Starting the day with that view is a real pleasure. Our only small suggestion would concern the vegan breakfast options. As vegans, we would have appreciated a slightly wider selection, especially things such as vegan croissants or other vegan pastries. It is only a small detail, but it would have made an already wonderful stay even better. Overall, we once again had a fantastic experience at the Royal Continental. Its location, architecture, atmosphere and unique design make it a very special place in Naples - and certainly a hotel we would happily return to again."

"Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber insgesamt völlig okay. Lage zum öffentlichen Strand in 5 Gehminuten top. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Personal freundlich, Insgesamt eine gute 2–3. Highlight: Der kostenlose Shuttleservice im 5–10‑Minuten‑Rhythmus zum Zentrum und zurück war wirklich top und super zuverlässig."

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Giorgio Terme. We chose it for its private beach and half-board option, but everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is spotless, the housekeeping is excellent, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, with great variety and quality every time. The private beach is beautiful, and the hotel also offers organised excursions. Having a bus stop right in front of the hotel made it very easy to explore the island."

"Zimmer sauber, guter Zimmerservice, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar, Rezeption 24h erreichbar. Man sollte gegen Strassenlärm nicht ganz so empfindlich sein, trotz gut schliessender Fenster dringt immer etwas Strassenlärm durch. Sehr zu empfehlen die "Kneipe" Kitebeer in der nächsten Strasse."
