"Modern hotel in Motomachi Kobe. Itâs located within a shopping street, but inside the room it was very quiet. Everything you need is just a short walk away. Iâd recommend leaving the Shinkansen at Shin-Osaka and board a local rapid train that goes directly to Motomachi station instead of getting off Shin-Kobe. Itâs a lot easier to reach the hotel that way.
The staff was perfect, always friendly and very helpful. There were only two things that were kind of bothersome for me, one thing was that there was almost no place to store personal items. If you have more than one luggage itâs going to be tough inside the double rooms. Second was the temperature. I had a room on the top floor and it was always extremely hot, both in the hallway and inside the room. Since I donât like to sleep with air condition running it got very hot again over the night.
I donât know how the situation is in the lower floors though.
Iâd still recommend staying here because you get a lot of other good stuff for your money. Friendly staff, great location and a lot of interesting things to see within a short walking distance.
