Goat Rock beach is steps away as is the mouth of the Russian River where there is a small "island" (that sits just where the river and Pacific merge) that is a fulltime hangout for a colony of seals. „Stay was great! The place is clean and spacious and we were able to make great use of the pool and hot tub. The only minor qualm I had was that when I asked Dan if we could check in an hour or two early, he said “yes, early check in might work” and then the day of reminded me to strictly adhere to the original check in time. However, obviously this was mostly a non issue and the stay was an excellent time nonetheless. Would DEFINITELY recommend this VRBO. “

The view was breath-takingly stunning, and we were lucky enough to utilize the pool because the weather was so lovely. The hot tub was wonderful, and we used it several times. „They weren’t kidding when they said great birding from this property. Especially if you like Great Blue Herons. Constant activity on the old wharf and surrounding bay view that fills all the windows on the back of the house. Handy location to base out of for all your Bodega Bay activities, and plenty of information provided to start from.“
