(3) There are no international TV channels such as CNN or BBC, only Taiwanese and some Japanese channels. (4) The nearest MRT station, Mingde, is about a 20-minute walk away, so you always have to take a bus to Zhishan, Shilin or Jiantan MRT stations first. In addition, the buses often get stuck in traffic jams, which are very common on Zhongshan North Road. A trip to Taipei 101, for example, can take an hour in total."
