„perfect“

„Biggest pro of this hotel is the location. There’s a train station next door, and Kuramae is a charming and quiet place. A nice break from the hustle and bustle of main Tokyo City, whilst not being too far from anything (except maybe the Shibuya area, but nothing the train can’t take you to without needing to transfer). It’s also one-way to Haneda Airport, big plus! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and understanding. The free pastries and coffee are pleasant. But if booking the twin room, ...

„Top Lage. Ältere Einrichtung aber alles sauber und funktionsfähig. Zimmergröße für Tokyo gut.“

„We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very small, but it was no problem for me and my partner. The room was very clean and cozy. We would definitely come back!“

„Saubere Zimmer, nettes Personal. Geräumige Zimmer schöner Ausblick“

„Alles Perfekt wie immer. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal.“

„Some of the staff did not speak any english and were quite impolite. The walls in the room were dirty and quiet shabby. Especially the smell in the aisles was terrible. In addition, the bathroom was tiny, so one could barly move, nor take a descent shower because of the lacking space in the bathroom. I had low expectations but even those low expections could not be satisfied by the hotel. For Tokyo standards the hotel was bearable but nothing more than that. Honestly, I was happy when left ...

„Sauberes, extrem kompaktes Zimmer.

„Super friendly staff and super convenient. Definitely worth the price we paid. I would come back for my next stay. The only potential drawback is that many restaurants in the area close at 9pm, however there are a few good izakayas nearby that are open longer. “

„We had a great stay! The hotel is very clean and ideally located near public transport in a nice neighborhood. The staff are wonderful and made us feel right at home. Our room was well-equipped and felt spacious for Tokyo. Breakfast (sandwich or granola) with coffee is basic but a good enough start for a day of tourism. Highly recommended!“

„I always love to be there. Very friendly staff, clean, close to JR Station and the Kokugikan, just perfect for me.“

„If it's an emergency stay for one night, it might be ok. The staff is friendly and basic amenities are provided. Asakusabashi station is practically on the doorstep. The reasons why I will not book at Hotel Mercury again are: The entrance and reception only accessible via a spiral staircase to the basement which is a challenge with suitcases. The corridors are bare with lots of damage and the atmosphere is cold and uninviting. The rooms are poorly air-conditioned, the furnishings are outdated ...

„Staying there feels like being surrounded by family. The Staff is a bunch of wunderful, caring and nice people. Love them so much. Hugs, Toni-san“

„Das Zimmer was sauber.

„Pros: good location, decent room sizes, nice room design, very clean Cons: broken heating in single/private room that was not fixed during my stay, mediocre staff that was unfriendly/unbothered, loud, poor value for money in single/private rooms“
