„Beautiful home with an exceptional view. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the views from the back decks, especially the upstairs bathroom. Suggestion to arrive before dark is important. A little confusing, because the home address is an even # located on the same side of the road as an odd # address. Once we located the home, all was very easy and the notebook in the home was very helpful. A great stay in a beautiful place. “

„Amazing , everything was fantastic, pool was awesome all to our selves , home had all the essential things needed to make stay comfortable, AC work beautiful, only thing missing was tv in rooms to relax little more but love the views and loved the home. “

„This is my second time staying at this Cabin . It’s the perfect location! It’s right down the street from the lake and a very short walking distance to all the shops. The cabin is very cozy and rustic.. Excellent communication from the owner made for an easy check-in. “

„Great mountain home for families or friends. Plenty of rooms, even a fun playroom/bedroom for the tykes. Downstairs has pool table and darts and big TV. Upstairs with main floor, kitchen, dining, living and fireplace (lots of firewood available). Just a couple of hours north of LA, very convenient. Short walk to small community town for dining and small grocery. Lots of hiking nearby - we suggest hikes #6 and #1 on the property’s hiking map (on the coffee table). „We had our annual family PMC retreat at the Star House. All eleven of us, from 2 to 73, loved it and hope to return next year. Kristin is a responsive, welcoming, and thorough host. We highly recommend a stay here. “

„We were there for our daughter's wedding weekend, she chose this house for her bridal party to get ready in. The house was wonderful, with amazing views and everything we needed for our stay. The host was responsive and we had no problems. Would definitely stay there again!“

„Not often do you rent a house that is even better than the pictures. This property had it all. A cozy foyer upon entry, a theater room with a Murphy bed and sleeper sofa, beautiful kitchen, awesome fireplace and three other bedrooms! All appliances and and amenities are first rate and high quality!! Heater worked great, and Kept us warm! Overall very pleased with our stay! Our family had a great Thanksgiving holiday! We would definitely stay again!“

„This cabin was so comfortable with gorgeous views and a great patio! We fit 13 people pretty comfortably throughout the house and there was enough space for us to all hang out together in the living room and kitchen. The house had basic cooking supplies but we did bring seasonings and paper supplies (including TP and paper towels) as expected! The downstairs did have a bit of a musty smell but overall it wasn’t unbearable. The trash depositing site is also very close to the house which is nice! ...

„The tri level house is very nice and centrally located- 3 miles from Mt Pinos biking and hiking area and a 5min drive to town. The Keurig did not work and they offered to bring us another right away- gotta have that coffee . Needs some form of ice maker even if just ice cube trays. The kitchen is huge although no one was in the cooking mood. But the living room space was a great hangout. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Highly recommend “
