Finde Arnside and Silverdale Hotels

„We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there“

„The hotel is well placed to explore the area. The room was comfortable, clean and great for the 2 nights we stayed. The bar was cosy with the wood burner on, breakfast set you up for the day and dinner was tasty and substantial 😁 The staff were friendly and helpful; we would stay again“

„Lovely stay here. The room was fantastic, staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. The chauffeur ride into Cartmel was also a great touch. We shall return!“

„Our room in the coach house was compact but was very clean, had everything we needed and overall satisfactory. Our room faced the main road so lots of traffic noise. „The lady who gave me breakfast- the owner was really helpful and friendly and gave me a perfect breakfast. I have no complaints and the price was fair.“

„Sehr alt und eklig!“

„Eigentlich ein tolles altes Gebäude aber der Zustand war ehr heruntergekommen. Das Bad war eine Zumutung nur mit Badewanne ohne Duschmöglichkeit. Sehr hellhörig.“

„Clean and comfortable room, very friendly staff and the breakfast was outstanding. Excellent value for money“

„Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend ...
