„We had a really great stay at Villa Marcela. It is perfectly located just off the main road in La Fortuna so you are close to all the action but out of the way a bit. There is plenty of space at the house for everyone to have their own rooms. The kids loved playing in the pool in the evening after a long day of exploring. There is tons to do all within about an hour drive of the house, including arenal volcano, zip lines, river tubing, waterfalls, El Salto rope swing, and so much more.“

„The staff was very helpful with booking tours and answering questions for our trip. They were very great with helping me get a flower arrangement for my wife and having it wait6at the property when we arrived. We celebrated our 5th Anniversary hear. The villa is located conveniently to town. Lots of birds and catching the spunds of some howlers in the distance. There are some Giant Toads that will visit you on the back dek at night. They mind their own business tho.“

„Geschirr war leider nicht wirklich sauber. Bad auch schimmelig und voll mit Bauschaum und viel zu viel Silikon an der Wanne. Insgesamt alles eher nur auf den ersten Blick schön, bei genauerem Hinschauen müsste viel renoviert werden. Ein Esstisch hat gefehlt. An der Küchentheke konnte man nicht gut sitzen. Dafür war der Pool schön, das Haus hatte viel Platz, bequeme Betten und Sofa und der Garten toll angelegt. Auf meine WhatsApp hatte niemand reagiert. “

The birds were amazing and the views of Arenal when the clouds are away is just unreal. The communication of the property manger was fantastic. „We recently stayed at this villa in June and it was a great experience! The concierge staff is so professional and very prompt in their responses! They were very helpful in helping book our local activities and tours! The house itself is in a great location, though a little further from the city center (which we were ok with!). „Great house, a short walk to LaFortuna town center with all the amenities you would need -- Groceries, restaurants and souvenirs. House worked well for our family of 7. Kitchen stocked with decent pots, dishes and cooking utensils. Pool provides a nice break after a day of touring. Property pictures accurately represent house. Listing states no a/c in living area. Additional cooling in those spaces would make the property even better “

„This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the action in Monteverde. We booked it in order to be close to Selvatura park for zip lining. It has a great view and Evelyn was very communicative and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The kids loved waking to the howler monkeys in the morning and watching all of the hummingbirds on the property. Highly recommended!“
