Despite the peaceful setting, you’re only about 45 minutes from both Tórshavn and Vágar Airport.

The Space:

This compact yet beautifully designed cabin is thoughtfully laid out to maximize comfort and charm.



The main floor features:



A bright living area with large windows facing the fjord



A cozy seating space perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring



A compact, well-equipped kitchen for simple home cooking



A bathroom in the rear extension



Above the main living area, you’ll find a cozy loft (hems) with a sleeping space suitable for one person. With a bit of flexibility, it may accommodate two, although it is best suited for one.



The living room also features a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps two guests.



Natural light fills the interior, and the panoramic windows frame the surrounding mountains and fjord, making the landscape part of the experience.



Guest Access:

Guests have full private access to the entire cabin during their stay. There are no shared spaces — the cabin is exclusively yours.



The Neighborhood:

Norðskáli is a peaceful village beautifully located by the fjord and surrounded by mountains. The area is known for its raw natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere.



You are perfectly positioned for scenic drives, fjord views, and hiking in the surrounding mountains. The setting feels remote and quiet, yet remains centrally located in the Faroe Islands.



This is the perfect base for exploring both the northern islands and the capital region.



Getting Around:

A car is highly recommended to explore the Faroe Islands comfortably.



From the cabin:

• Tórshavn – approx. 45 minutes by car

• Vágar Airport – approx. 45 minutes by car

• Scenic fjord views – right outside your door

• Hiking opportunities – nearby



Parking is available near the cabin.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that the cabin is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Bed linen and towels are included for your comfort. A key box makes check-in easy and flexible – you will receive the code one day before arrival. Free parking is available. We kindly ask guests to respect the home and the quiet neighborhood, so everyone can enjoy their stay.



The washing machine is located in the basement of the house next door.



To access it, please leave the cabin and walk over to the adjacent house, where you will find the entrance to the basement. There is a key available that allows you to open the basement door.



Inside the basement, you will find a washing machine and a designated area for hanging clothes. You are also welcome to store your luggage there if needed.



Please note that guests staying in the house next door also have access to the laundry basement, so it is a shared facility.



We offer extra flexibility

Would you like to arrive a bit earlier or leave a little later? We provide both early check-in and late check-out for an additional fee of 500 DKK each. Please reach out in advance to confirm availability.

It is also possible to order a baby crib and a high chair for an additional fee of DKK 400.

Please note that a local tourism tax and administration fee apply to all stays. These are standard requirements in the Faroe Islands and will be arranged separately closer to arrival.
