The small cottage was very clean had a lot of character and the views of the Lake were amazing. Having your own private beach was great. Also having most of the beach to the North being uninhabited and available for walks was awesome. Hidden gem this cottage is. It is rustic so no a/c and we were there for a couple hot nights so that was only downside. Other than that the place is great. We will def be back

Priced Too High

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was an A. Right on Lake Michigan and beautiful view! Neighbors were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Rustic cabin if that’s what you are looking for. Downsides: Very small, no air conditioning, not enough windows open to get a comfortable draft, large webs with very large black spiders share your bedside, sand on floors, expected to take trash to curb and $450 a night (with fees).Cleaning fee was more than I pay for in my house that’s much larger.I personally would not recommend, but some people may enjoy.

We loved the rustic cottage. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels, great hot water tank. No TV, but had good internet service. It was just a short distance to the small deck overlooking the lake. A stairway led to the fire pit and then a few more steps to the beach. The sunsets were beautiful.

Great amenities & convenient

Great home & nice area. Everything was super clean upon arrival & so many neat things inside & around the home, this house had a lot to offer! The back deck & little private beach area with the fire pit & the views that came with that made this spot that much better. Frankfort & Manistee are not far away either which was also convenient. Tons to do within the area, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

wonderful location

There could not be better views of Lake Michigan, or a better beach. This is just a wonderful place. The place is very thoughtfully set up, from the hose for washing off sandy feet to the kitchen to having plenty of towels. It was as described-- "rustic"-- so don't be surprised by that.

Blissful!

The sunsets and beach combing were AMAZING!! Could not have asked for a better location for all of the outdoor activities we love to enjoy. Each day we hiked, went rock hunting, took the boardwalk looking to expand our bird-list, walked to the lighthouse in Frankfort, visited the art gallery there, and mostly just chilled. We hope to return soon.

Sweet little place on the lake.

Overall a nice little place for an escape. Our dog did set off a live mouse trap (he was unharmed) and found one with a dead mouse. It made him like the place even more.

Great beach vacation

We had the best time at this cute cabin on Lake Michigan for the 4th of July week. The place itself is exactly how it’s described and is a perfect location for a beach vacation. We did zero day trips (grew up on lake MI and have been to almost every place on the west side, if you have not, then it’s a perfect place for day trips). The neighbors were fantastic, very friendly which is great because the houses are close. We will definitely be back. It was exactly what we were looking for on a relaxed vacation. Very clean, full of books (good ones too!), games and the kitchen was well stocked with what you need to cook.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. The Wee Cabbage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the quintessential rustic Lake Michigan cottage. Amazing views and only a staircase down to the beach. We will be back next year and for a longer stay. Perfect location that isn’t too populated and just 15 minutes from Frankfort or Beulah to enjoy a meal out or grab groceries to cook in.

Wee Cabbage Customer Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was as advertised. Well-cared for and very clean. Gorgeous views and easy beach access. This cottage is a short drive away from the cute little town of Frankfort and there are also hiking trails nearby. Neighboring homes are close to each other, but everyone was friendly. No AC in the cottage made for a couple very toasty afternoons. Ability to open the windows and/or having a portable AC unit would be a nice addition as we had our 3-month old with us and the heat was a challenge. Overall great experience at this cottage, though!
