„Home was clean and comfortable, with beautiful views and direct access to the beach. Kitchen had most everything you could need, including pots, pans, dishes, grilling tools, etc. Worked out perfect for our family get-together of 7.“

„The cottage was just what we needed. It was plenty big enough for 5 adults and 2 kids. The lake was great for my granddaughters for swimming and the sandy bottom worked out well. Had everything we needed as far for cooking, rooms of a good size. We went the sand dune clime and butterfly zoo in traverse city. Stacey was great to work with. Will go back for sure next year. “

„We came to visit and check out one of our adult children’s new town, recently moved to manistee. We had a lot of fun. We were surprised at how well the we all fit in the house with room enough - 6 adults and kids. The two upstairs bedrooms are connected, need to walk through one to get to the other- perfect for mom/dad and kids; we slept in the tiny room downstairs- fits a bed and that’s about it- but we didn’t find it uncomfortable- was okay! „We enjoyed our stay at Camp Smokey. The home is great, a lot less mosquitoes in the yard than when you stay in the deep woods, and close to our favorite bait shops, markets, dining and recreation. Love that old sheets are provided for the doggies and to use at the beach. Lots of different places in and out of the house to sit, doesn't feel cramped or crowded at all. Love it!“

„This house is incredibly spacious and easy to feel at home in. We thought it was walking distance to the beach but it's way too overgrown to do that safely, and you're limited to a small view of the lake from the back of the house, or a better one from the upstairs deck. The kitchen is huge and has high quality appliances, including ice maker, and the eat in kitchen has seating for four as does the front living room, so nowhere for five or more to eat together.
