„Overall, excellent. We stayed 2 nights in winter. Roads were clear. A few other homes in sight but strong sense of privacy. Heating and cooking were good. Good tmobile data reception. Didnt try streaming. TV with DVD player and HDMI input. Driveway is between Bonnynook Rd intersection and american flag. Home is very clean and well equipped for your stay. Hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Top rating.“

„My husband and I had a great stay at the Hoothaus. Great location with easy access to mountain biking and running trails. Close to the lake and to downtown Nevada City, yet still quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very communicative and helpful in suggesting local activities. Space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. “

„It's clear a lot of thoughtfulness and intention went into the property and amenities. It's rare to stay at a spot where there are cooking spices, tupperware containers, and minimal cleanup/checkout instructions, and all of these little things really added up to make for a relaxing and fulfilling vacation. Amazing location; communicative and welcoming host.“

„A well maintained and nicely decorated older house. Plenty of room and sleeping spaces for many. Large furnished kitchen to support a large family or group. Living room has many seating options to accommodate many. Property is conveniently located near the Foresthill Lodge and other local businesses. We will definitely book again when we travel to this region in the future.“

"Ein Hiker Imperium :) Es ist eher ein rustikales Hostel, als Hotel, hat aber faire Preise. Der Besitzer und für Mitarbeiter waren mehr wie Freunde und es war alles sehr persönlich. Ich würde wieder kommen, sollte es mich zurück auf den PCT bringen."
