„We haven’t been in an HI hostel in a long time (in our 70s) but were very happy with our overnight stay in HI Aveiro. Staff were lovely, the room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent. We walked to it from the bus station via the beautiful park. Not many eateries in the immediate neighbourhood (apart from a McDonalds almost opposite) but only 15 minutes on foot to the many restaurants/cafes in the town centre. “

„Parkplätze sind in den Nebenstrassen zu finden, unbedingt auf die gebührenpflichtigen Zeiten achten. Der Fahrstuhl war außer Betrieb. Der Check In ging schnell. Es wäre Hilfreich mit einem "Achtungsband" auf dem Boden zu markieren oder hinzuweisen das es in das Zimmer per Stufe runter reingeht. Meine Frau hätte sich fast auf dem Boden liegend wieder gefunden (gefährlich). Die Badamartur nicht richtig verbaut. Man wartet 3min bis warmes Wasser kommt. „I did have a good time at the hotel. At the center of the city, Coimbra, you could almost go anywhere. The train is nearby so if you need to get to the hotel then, you are not that far from Hotel domus. As it was in the center of Coimbra, I was not expecting to be quiet. It was noisy, but as a solo traveller, it did not affect me in anyway. The hotel facilities were cleaned, affordable.
