To be honest, we expected much more from this hotel. At check-in, the receptionist couldn’t speak English, which was surprising for a five-star hotel. There was no welcome drink or warm welcome, unlike our experience at Hoshinoya Tokyo. The room was fine but didn’t feel luxurious, and the air conditioning couldn’t be set below 22°C. We arrived during a typhoon, and room service offered only four dishes between 9 PM and midnight. The portions were very small, and when we asked if we could order anything else the next day, we were told no. We also weren’t allowed to order Uber Eats, and the restaurants were mostly fully booked because they are open to outside guests as well. The resort itself is beautiful, and the ocean is stunning, but it’s not suitable for swimming due to the shallow water and coral. By the pool, empty glasses and plates were left for over a day, there was no poolside food or drink service, and no music, making the atmosphere feel rather lifeless. What disappointed us most was the lack of hospitality. No one checked in during our stay to ask if everything was okay, and at check-out, no one asked whether we had enjoyed our stay or requested feedback. There were also many children at the resort. Overall, we feel the property would be much better suited as an adults-only hotel.

Ganz Tolles Hotel. Hervorzuheben ist vor allem der spektakuläre Blick von der Terrasse aus und der super tolle Thalasso Pool der eine, wie ich finde, deutlich angenehmere Temperatur hat als onsen Pools. Ein ganz tolles Erlebnis waren auch die Indoor Massagen die sogar bis 22:00 Uhr abends angeboten werden nur zu empfehlen und ganz toll auch nachmittags die 2 Stunden Tea time und die 2 Stunden Aperitif time mit kostenlosen Getränken und kleinen Snacks Und alle Mitarbeiter extremst freundlich und hilfsbereit
