A beautiful, modern, and very well-maintained resort with a great beach - but unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by several disappointments. We booked a VIP corner room for three nights at about totally 300 dollar more than the standard rooms. Check-in took over an hour, despite having a separate VIP desk, mainly due to major communication issues. The room itself did not match what we had booked; instead of the expected view, we were looking mostly at a neglected corner of the property. After complaining, we were only offered a smaller standard room, clearly a downgrade. Despite spending hours discussing the issue, the management showed little willingness to resolve it properly. The “goodies” we received—free parking and one breakfast—were worth maybe 70 dollar, nowhere near the price difference. To make things worse, the really nice, quiet pool was only accessible with an extra fee, including for loungers. Breakfast in both the lounge and main restaurant was difficult for us, as the warm dishes consisted almost entirely of pork, with hardly any alternatives. On top, the pool closes already at 6 pm, which just feels outdated. It’s a shame, because the resort itself has so much potential. But the unprofessional handling of our complaint and the poor value for money left us extremely disappointed. We would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
