The hotel is inside the new Takanawa Gateway area. Thus it’s very clean and quite compared to the other districts of Tokyo. Two stations are just a few minutes away. It’s possible to take a train directly to Haneda Airport from Sengakuji station. But be aware if you’re traveling with heavy luggage, there‘s no elevator or escalator to the platform. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a good, there was plenty to choose from. The rooms are quite big compared to other Japanese Hotels which is very convenient. The only thing that was really annoying was the fan inside the bathroom. It was running constantly and it wasn’t possible to turn off. In other hotels there’s usually a switch to turn it off, but here you could only turn it to heavy or light. I talked to the staff at the reception about the problem but they said they can’t do anything about it since it runs automatically. I woke up from the noise several times in the night (after showering there was even a high pitched noise) so the sleeping experience was not really good. Thus I have to reduce one star sadly, everything else was great.

Das Zimmer war sehr angenehm und ruhig. Sehr gutes Frühstück japanisch und Western Style. Grosser Badebereich mit 40 und 42 Grad Becken, sowie Sauna!! Waschmaschinen (waschmittelfrei!) und Trockner stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung.
