Unfortunately, our experience at Venus Beach Hotel was very disappointing. Room: The room was dirty, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. The mirrors and sinks were never cleaned, they often forgot to leave towels, and the trash was not taken out. We complained and asked them to clean the room, but it was still just as dirty afterward. Apparently, they thought adding more soap would solve the problem. In the end, they simply left the sheets on the bed for us to make the bed ourselves. Breakfast: The breakfast was terrible, with poor-quality food and a very dirty environment. The coffee was also awful. Eventually, we stopped going to breakfast altogether and bought bread at the Lidl across the street instead. Food policy: Guests are not allowed to order food from outside the hotel. I had never encountered such a strange policy at any hotel before. Pool area: The pool itself was fine, but the loungers were dirty and were never cleaned. The tables were also left dirty, and there was trash around the area. The country itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, we will not be returning to this hotel.
