We have stayed at this particular Rosewood many times in the past with fairly good success until this past visit. Staffing shortages created massive service and quality issues that one would never expect at this price point of a hotel-especially a Rosewood. The room itself was not tended to regularly- at one point my room was not cleaned over by about 3 PM. Simple requests like ice because there’s no machine nearby would take a long time. The room itself had insects. I have bug bites all over my torso and arms from the spider that I’ve eventually found and killed. Right outside our door we had an ant infestation. There was no Concierge present for the majority of his day to help us with Reservations. They put us in a far away room and did not offer us the opportunity for cart transportation despite multiple requests completely unanswered. I did speak with management about these problems and a were aware of their staffing issues.

The Staff was friendly, accommodating and anticipated you needs. They made you feel comfortable and at home. Can’t say enough good things. We will definitely be going back!

9 Tage lang haben wir uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt und empfanden das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis als sehr gut: freundliches Personal, wechselndes Frühstück - auf Wunsch auf der Hotelterrasse, am Pool oder am/im Zimmer - sowie Verpflegung am Nachmittag, angenehme Zimmer, in denen es an nichts fehlte, ein Shuttleservice zum Strand, eine exotisch angelegte Gartenanlage, die ansprechende individuelle und hochwertige Einrichtung und die allgemeine Atmosphäre im Hotel. Das Hotel war insgesamt sauber und legte viel Wert auf Hygiene ( z.B. Pool). Gerade deshalb sehen wir folgendes Entwicklungspotential: Frühstückstische sollten morgens für jeden neuen Gast gereinigt werden - auch die Stühle - da es dort sehr viele kleine Vögel gibt, die vom Garten und dem Frühstück der Gäste angelockt werden. Das Frühstück wird zwar nicht gestört, aber die Spatzen (o.ä.) fliegen auf Tische und Stühle sobald die Gäste sich entfernen und hinterlassen ihren Dreck. Außerdem wäre es schöner, wenn der Tisch mit dem vorhandenen schönen Geschirr aufgedeckt würde und nicht einfach nur das für jeden Gast individuell vorbereitete Tablettt auf dem Tisch plaziert würde. Letzteres stört die ansonsten "gehobene" Atmosphäre. Der ansonsten Top-Service im Hotel kann zwar kaum verbessert werden, aber ein Spezial-Strandpaket (eventuell in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Strandhotel) mit Sonnenschirm und ggf. Liegen - tageweise buchbar - wäre als Ergänzung optimal, gerade in der warmen Jahreszeit.
