The hotel’s location is fantastic, right on the beach. Unfortunately, the property feels dated. I stayed in the Château Tower, where some of the lifts were out of order. The lights on the lifts that were working weren’t on, so it was difficult to tell whether a lift had been called. The hallway carpets are also old. There is construction taking place outside the Viva restaurant and on the other side of the property and near the pool so you feel the work on top. The room was okay overall, but the shower drain was completely clogged. The water wouldn’t drain while I was showering, and the shower floor tiles were old and stained.
