⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 Wonderful first-time stay at The Westin Westminster for my birthday weekend getaway. My partner and I genuinely had a good time, but a few issues kept this from being a 4–5 star experience. The biggest concern was the pool. Early in the morning around pool opening, my partner told me a group of about five men were staring her down, making her extremely uncomfortable. I understand the hotel can't control every guest, but everyone should be able to enjoy the pool without feeling watched or uneasy. The bathtub also never drained properly from day one. It would fill with water while showering, which was unpleasant and made us wonder what was clogging it. For a hotel at this level, basic maintenance should be addressed. Parking was another major frustration. Due to a large event, the lots were extremely full, forcing hotel guests to park far away while still paying for parking. Seeing event attendees apparently receive free hotel/event parking while paying hotel guests dealt with the shortage felt very unfair. Overall, we still enjoyed our birthday trip and would like to try the restaurant next time. However, based on this stay, this is probably a once-a-year hotel for us. Good experience overall, but several issues need improvement.

Our room was large and well appointed. We loved the charm of this small hotel and enjoyed a wonderful meal at the restaurant attached to the hotel.

My wife and I stayed Friday through Sunday for a family event and rented a nice suite. It’s a very nice hotel. In a good location. The bed was comfortable. Here’s what I did have a problem with. To begin with their room service give you two different restaurants to choose from. One was a five star with very nice menu. My wife and I ordered a full dinner including steak. When they delivered the meal, there was no silverware of any kind just the small cheapest plastic knife fork and napkins set. A $60 steak is supposed to be eaten with a plastic knife fork? The irony was the food was very good. I would strongly recommend to the management that they, at least for people who have rented a suite that includes a kitchen, put some silverware for the guest to use since it’s not being delivered.

Unsure on parking used public transportation. The breakfast included an omelet station and the coffee was very good. Happy hour was a nice suprise that included light horderves and cocktails. Staff was lovely.
