„We loved our weekend stay at Sugar Cove. The cabin is super cute and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, including kitchen supplies, cozy blankets, comfortable bedding, and a selection of DVDs for evening movies. There is no WiFi, but we had good cell reception.Thank you for sharing your pet friendly space for a relaxing weekend up north. “

„There's not much to do on sugar island other than enjoy time with each other. Cook a bunch of food and enjoy the peace and quiet. Have a campfire and if that makes you happy. This is the perfect stay. We love it at the sugar suite.“

„Super cute cottage on Sugar Island. This was my first time on the island. We didn’t have much time to explore, but getting to the cottage was easy. Perfect place for my daughter and I for a weekend of hockey in The Soo. (There for sure would’ve been room for the whole family to stay though.) We will be keeping this place in mind for more hockey trips that fall when it’s open! “

„My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!“

„Amazing property, breathtaking views, and felt like I was walking onto the family cottage on the lake. This property is beautiful, the home is rustic yet updated with every amenity imaginable. Zero stress, 100% relaxation.“

„We came for my fiancés 30th birthday. Everything was excellent and as described. We particularly liked the beach access, and full kitchen. We comfortably slept 7 people with plenty of room for others if we wanted. The weather was less than ideal with rain and overcast but we made the best of it with board games and starting a fire in the fireplace. I’d definitely recommend coming here to othered. Thank you to the host Kevin for even letting us check in a few hours early! “

"Unser Zimmer war geräumig und sauber jedoch ein wenig old fashioned. Da gerade umfangreiche Sanierungen stattfinden, wird sich das wahrscheinlich in nächster Zukunft ändern. Das Fenster ging in das überdachte Foyer des angeschlossenen Casinos. Von den Bauarbeiten haben wir keinen Lärm gehört. "
