Summary:

Perched on a cliff above the Pacific in the private Punta Garrobo development, Casa Joanna is a luxury retreat for families and groups of up to 10 who want space, privacy and the ocean in every view. Five king suites, an infinity pool under a palapa and terraces facing the sunset set the tone, with parota wood, marble and stone finishes throughout. Zihuatanejo's beaches and town are about 10 minutes away.



The Space:

Casa Joanna is spread over three levels, all opening to terraces with panoramic views of the Pacific.



· Bedrooms: 5 bedrooms, each with a king bed, air conditioning, its own en-suite bathroom and access to a balcony or terrace. The master suite has a private jacuzzi.

· Bathrooms: 5 full en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, plus 3 half baths.

· Kitchen: fully equipped and air-conditioned, with a granite island, gas range, oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender and breakfast bar.

· Social areas: a spacious open-air lounge with ocean views and a TV room with sectional sofa and Netflix. Every bedroom also has its own TV.

· Outdoors: infinity pool, a covered terrace with a round parota dining table for 10, sun loungers, a cabana with 4 daybeds and green areas.

· Practical: Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, and covered parking for 4 cars.



The finishes combine parota wood, marble, cantera stone, granite and exposed concrete, giving the house a warm, natural feel.



Guest Access:

The entire house is yours during your stay. A private level of the house (gym and office) is reserved for the owners and is not part of the rental.



Cleaning service is included during the day (8:00 am – 5:00 pm). On request and for an additional fee, we can arrange a private chef, airport transfers, extra cleaning staff and grocery shopping before or during your stay.



Guests also have access to the amenities of the Punta Garrobo development: a beach club with a pool, restaurant-bar and loungers on the sand, a padel court and tennis courts, at no extra cost. Amenities must be booked one day in advance.



The Neighborhood:

Punta Garrobo is a quiet, private development on the scenic road to Playa Las Gatas, surrounded by lush vegetation and overlooking Zihuatanejo Bay. It offers calm and privacy while keeping the town, its beaches and restaurants a short drive away.

· Playa El Palmar, Ixtapa: about 15 min

· Ixtapa bike path, through mangroves and jungle: about 15 min

· Isla Ixtapa (snorkeling and four beaches): about 20 min

· Playa Quieta (snorkeling, sailing and windsurfing): about 20 min

· Xihuacan archaeological site and museum: about 25 min



Getting Around:

Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport is about 15 minutes away by car. Transfers are not included but can be arranged on request for an additional fee.



The easiest way to get around is by car. The house has covered parking for 4 cars.



Other Things to Note:

HOUSE RULES:

- All cancelations from VRBO are subject to a 5% fee due to transaction fees.

- Minimum age to rent: 25.

- No parties or events.

- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM.

- Outside guests are allowed in the development until 10:00 PM; only registered guests may stay overnight.

- No smoking.

- Speed limit in the development: 20 km/h (12 mph).

.· The house is built on a cliff over three levels, with stairs between floors. The infinity pool and balconies are not fenced, so the house is not suitable for small children.

· Exterior security cameras cover the entrance and the pool area. There are no cameras inside the house.
