„It was perfect for a night or 2. I tried contacting the owner before hand to ask booking in time and how to get in but no reply so we were hanging around hoping. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return. “

„Ich habe in jeder Hinsicht meine Aufenthalt im Hotel genossen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Küche im Pub war auch super. Das Preis-Qualität Verhältnis ist top. Ich kann das Inn gerne empfehlen.“

„Extrem freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich. Da es ziemlich zentral liegt kann man zu Fuß in ca. 5 Minuten in der Innenstadt sein. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und wurde täglich frisch zubereitet. Das einzige was man als negativ sagen kann wäre das die Fenster nicht ganz dicht sind, dass ist aber dort drüber ganz normal und überall so. “

„Ich verbrachte eine Nacht im HandHotel. Sehr schöne schicke Eingangshalle mit Bar. Das Zimmer war dann aber sehr einfach. Die Tapete bröselte teils und mein Fenstervorhang lies sich nur notdürftig öffnen. Insgesamt ein dem Zweck dienliches Hotel, aber so richtig gemütlich ist es nicht mehr. Hatte sicher einmal mehr Glanz, heute auf den zweiten Blick etwas veraltet. Das ist ist gut. Personal bemüht und meist freundlich.“

„I can’t praise this hotel enough I’ve stayed all over the world in some fabulous hotels but this was outstanding. From the moment we arrived our host Pam made us more than welcome even allowing us to take part in their Burns night that they had on that evening . If you’re visiting this area and are lucky enough to get a room this has got to be the best place to stay .“

„We stayed in the Coach House and what wonderful place to stay. The views are lovely. Watching and interacting with the four horses that are in an enclosed field right next to the apartment was lovely. The apartment is a converted coach house and has loads of character. It's open plan, airy and roomy and has everything available if you want to cook yourself, and it also has a log burner. There's some lovely pubs/ restaurants nearby, our favourite being the Dog & Pickle. Excellent WiFi too.“

„Das Hotel (von 1462) liegt am Horseshoe-Pass, somit etwas abgelegen. Die Zimmer sehr urig, aber sauber. Sehr schöner Kneipen-Bereich, Frühstück sehr gut, Service klasse“

Well maintained, clean & tidy. Pretty new rooms. Very friendly staff. The hotel is in walking distance to train station (still quiet!), city center, Albert docks, etc. excellent for a city trip. Only the breakfast was a bit boring. Nothing fresh, but only ham, sausages, beans etc. same every day.

Schönes, ruhiges Zimmer mit toller Aussicht auf die Albert Docks. Leider war das Zimmer nicht wirklich geputzt (Staub, Fingerabdrücke etc.). Das Frühstück ist super mit viel Auswahl (Full English Breakfast, Obst, Süßspeisen), alles frisch. Der Service war sehr höflich. Kostenlose Gepäckaufbewahrung war möglich. Wir sind mit dem Bus vom Flughafen Manchester gekommen und mussten von Liverpool One nur wenige Minuten gehen. Auch sonst ist die Lage perfekt - Zentrum mit Geschäften als auch Triangle mit Brauereien etc. Sind in nächster Nähe. Wir werden das Maldron bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Liverpool ganz bestimmt erneut buchen.
